kk, so liek, college is taking up all of my time at the moment, yarr. Haven't talked to high-school friends in a while, haven't talked to family in a while, etc. etc.
So, Dear Blog, I figured something out today. Actually a few things.
The first thing is, that I only actually post on my blog when I remember that I have one. It's an odd thing, really. I go through most of my life without realizing that I have a Facebook account, much less a blog. But whenever I do remember it, I figure that it would be a good idea to post something so that in like five years, I remember exactly what I was thinking!
So, Mr. 24-year old Andrew Prowse, that's what I figured out today.
(It's not weird to be talking to a future version of myself, right? People blog to their future selves all the time, right? It's normal, right? Right? Right~!? ;_;)
It's like a time capsule that you can just keep putting stuff into, but your parents don't get mad because of all the holes you dug in the back yard. I mean, no one really reads this blog, because if they did they would leave comments lololololol
...
Aaaaanyway, I started watching Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, and couldn't stop, and once I'm done, I'm probably going to watch it again, because it is that awesome. Well, maybe just the character introduction episodes, because they were the funniest. Ah well. At anime club(wtf do i keep going there), we were watching Chrno Crusade and it was all like lololol that bitch is CRAZY and stuff. I didn't vote for watching it but it was pretty cool, with the nun with guns, demons, and stuff. Then we watched Comic Party, and contrary to what I expected going into it, it was actually really funny. Parts of it hit home with me personally, so it cool. It's a nice mix between all-out comedy and weird moments of deep understanding that the main characters keep having.
I also finally made a taiko workshop. Nothing cleanses the soul more than wailing on giant Japanese drums for an hour. No, seriously, it was really fun. I felt really good afterwards.
So. That's the end of this entry. I'm going to NYC with the Japanese club tomorrow, so I'll be gone most of the day, not like anyone needs to know lololol

fffffffffff (2)
I saw that SRW GC was on sale for $25, which is like forty dollars off of the normal price, so I jumped on it and bought it, a Freeloader, and a memory card; only to discover after it shipped that the Freeloader I got was the PAL version and not the US one >:O
anyway bounen no xam'd is pretty cool
also F-ZERO GX IS STEALING MY MIND AND SOUL AWAY ADFSDFSDFAFDFSSDF
I started SRW Compact 3, and expected it to be hard but it kinda isn't... oh well. The main character, Folka, in the Ialdabaoth, is kicking ass, and Escaflowne is dishing out huge damage left and right as well. I could deploy those two and a healer and probably not have any problem.
Anyway, uh... I have some Gundam model pics sitting in a folder, maybe I should update that stuff.

fffffffffff
The stupid TCNJ site won't let me confirm my attendance. Well, it will, but it doesn't appear to actually be going through the system. Maybe it's because we haven't paid for next semester's tuition+room+board yet... Even after I emailed the Records & Registration department, I didn't hear anything D:<
OKOKOKOK. Windows XP is back on my computer after a foolish switch back to Vista, an unsuccessful attempt to install XP, and short sojourn in Ubuntu. Linux was kind of fun, but none of my games ran on it, so I managed to get XP up and running. I did, however, partition the hard drive, so if I want to put Linux back on for some reason - I'm considering just allocating that space for XP atm - the option for dualboot is there.
Blah. I've been in sort of a depressing, bad mood lately, and it's only getting worse. This is the last week I'll be working at Shoprite, but that only means this will be the hardest week of all. Also, I've been tracing my bad mood back to my little brother time and time again, but I'm not about to go on a big rant about my own psychology at the moment. Suffice it to say that I'll be really glad to get back to school in two weeks. Yeah, move-in day is the Sunday after next, so.
In other news, I can't can't can't WAIT for SRWZ. In other other news, I started watching Bounen no Xamdou(great show so far... thanks for showing it to me Emperor :D).
Well, Sunday's the worst day of the week, I don't have much free time, so I'm grabbing what I can. Until next entry...
Saturday, July 26, 2008
It's been a busy two months.
What with my part-time job at Shoprite and scattered summer festivities, I haven't had much of a chance to get a lot done. Most of my free time is being used hanging out with friends(lol, TF2) or playing video games(Tales of Destiny remake <3). I'm finding that this summer has been really different from past summers. Even barring the whole "part-time job" thing, it's been pretty bad. I've been at a serious loss of motivation, and I don't really want to do the things I normally want to do... I figure it's just summer doldrums getting to me. Whatever.
I found a neat JLPT study site, and have been going through the Level 4 material, finding that I could probably get the level 4 certification right now if I wanted to.
Programming-wise, instead of taking on huge projects, I've just been teaching myself new concepts, mostly threading and graphics programming(UGH) at the suggestion of Blacken, a FESSer who is the only person that I will ever genuinely hate on the Internet. The problem is that I respect his programming skills so much, but don't like the rest of him... XD
As a side-hobby, over the last couple of days I've taught myself XML and XLST. When I first started reading about the concept of XML, I was really impressed, so I decided to get into it. Who knows where that'll take me, but it's really good for data organization. Hundreds of tiny XML files and a few relatively small XLST files can make a huge, functional website... which is really neat :3
Drawing-wise, as always, I never see any improvement, nor can I come up with creative ideas very often. It's really been a slump. Today, though, I was looking up a few sites with drawing exercises, and I've been working on stimulating the right side of my brain - and finding that I was already able to use it pretty well; I just haven't been. On Monday(my next day off) I think I'm going to take out all my old drawings (there's a buttload, no seriously, dating years back) and group them into approximate time periods(it's not like any of them are dated), then critique them from a stranger's standpoint. This way, I can get a grip on how I've gotten over the years, as well as ascertain where I still need to improve.
(Deviantart? Why the hell would I sign up there? ...So I say, but the nagging suspicion that I'm going to in the future is there... No! No, I musn't do that, it's bad.)
Anyway. Work today, and tomorrow, so I'm not going to have very much free time. Only three more weeks, and then school starts again, which I've actually been looking forward to. I miss all my friends there :<
Until whenever, this is Darkslime, signing off.

Various things
Finally starting part-time summer job tomorrow; huzzah. Now I'll actually have, like, moneys.
In other news, I've been watching Big O lately(it's going to be featured in SRW Z, and is one of the shows on my list of "should have seen but didn't so will try to soon", along with Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, and Hellsing), and I must say, it's been extremely impressive so far. The art style is so earthy, and a far cry from most of what you see in anime these days. The main character, Roger Smith, is practically my hero now, and Dorothy has all the greatest one-liners.
Anyways, it was a nice after watching the SEED Destiny compilation movies to see how Roger operates. Not only does he beat the living crap out of anything attacking Paradigm City, but he does it with style and flair. The Big O itself is also totally different from any mech I've seen before, and I'm loving it. One thing that impressed me about it in particular is the control system - too many times, you see mecha series either taking the easy way out with total motion sensor system or simply not bothering to portray how it works(this is one of the reasons I also like the robots in Fafner). The entire cockpit of the Big O is extremely well drawn, and you can see clearly exactly how Roger controls the robot's limbs and such.
In addition to all this, the story is very much like a western detective novel in a lot of parts, and the whole thing(the theme of the color black, Roger's sedan, gadgets, etc.) reminds me of the animated Batman cartoon series.
Also, no silly Japanese high school culture gets in the way here. It's the professional "negotiator", the android, and the awesome butler in a city that was apparently based on New York City. This is, needless to say, an extremely refreshing change from most of the stuff I've been seeing lately. Also of note is the technological level of the Big O compared to other Super Robots - this one is a Real Robot in disguise, it seems. Its most advanced weapons are the lasers that it can shoot out of its eyes. Most of the time, it just kinda bashes through everything with raw power, though. It also apparently has a beam gatling gun inside one arm. There is that one part where it did something on its own, though... so I have a feeling I'll be seeing more stuff like that soon enough.
Oh, and did I mention, the music is incredible? It was composed by Sahashi Toshihiko, the same composer who did the music for Gundam SEED and Full Metal Panic!. I am a really big fan of his work.
Another thing that has been good so far is the dub. Most anime-nerds know this, but most anime that is licensed and dubbed in English is done terribly. However, The Big O is one of the few exceptions. Now, I really do not know voice actors, whether Japanese or American, but I think Roger Smith's VA has played a few other big roles, I'm just not sure what(and can't be bothered to look it up).
In any case, I'm 17 episodes in, and most of the mysteries that the first few presented to the viewer are beginning to be unraveled. Pieces are clicking together, and at this point, we really don't know much more than the main character does about what's going on.

State of the CM Game
Through methods that may or may not have been legal, I've recovered the latest version of the Crazed Machinations game - the old one, that was based off of Seventh Sky - and am beginning a pretty major overhaul in the fields of graphics, and possibly music. That's right, I'm designing the sprites all by myself. The ones I'm making are considerably smaller than the ones ripped from SRWJ, meaning I'll be able to make a lot of them.
There will also be adjustments to the game system, such as having no weapon equipped(increases speed for running away, lol) and better melee mechanics. One thing that was lost in the work-in-progress version of the old game was the lock-on system, which I hope to reimplement. The boost system will most likely also be receiving an overhaul, maybe to make it more like Seventh Sky(double-click for quick boost?). I'm not quite sure yet.
The main problem is that I cannot on the game itself - it was made with the Pro Edition, which seems not to be working now...(those of you in #fessrp, you know why). Therefore, I'm going to "reacquire" the pro edition, but that won't happen for a few more weeks. So, I'll log my status with sprites and such.
Schwarzung
* Movement sprite with no weapon; movement sprite with beam claws; movement sprite for machine cannons - FINISHED
* Preparing or "taking out" the beam claws; preparing the machine cannons - FINISHED
* Super attack graphics(Infinity Cannon) - still need the energy blast sprite, otherwise finished
* Firing machine cannons sprite - FINISHED
* Using beam claws - in progress
* G-Breaker sheath attachment on back - FINISHED
* Scarf attachment - haven't started
Ecaille Guerrier
* Currently working on base sprite design
Music (!?)
* I'm composing a song or two, and have finished one that sounds pretty cool... but I'm not confident in my ability to do this stuff...

And now for an attempt at a normal blog post
Well, I'm home from college, and unpacked(mostly), so things have slowed down quite a bit. I'm in the process of looking for a job, which may or may not turn out well... I also need to get my driver's license relatively soon, since I've been procrastinating in that respect for a long time now.
In the meantime, I've been watching Overman King Gainer, which is a mecha show Tomino-sama came up with. Wait! It's not one of the kill-em-all animes he's famous for... Quite the contrary, it's almost a comedy. The characters are very likable, the robot designs are very original(that's another word for weird, but in a good way), and unlike many other shows I've watched, I really want to keep coming back for more. Even though I'm only on episode 18 of 26, I'd recommend this to anyone into giant robot action - and maybe even to those who aren't, as well. Though the fight scenes are really cool, this series doesn't neglect character development. It's also extremely cool to think about the concept of the Exodus - dragging along HUGE CITY SECTORS cross-country to a new land. It's like the move west in America, except this is a move south, starting from Siberia, and replacing the little wagons with giant city blocks.
I've also been playing a hell of a lot of Mario Kart Wii, as well as hanging out with friends when their schedules are free. Personally, I didn't think I'd like MK Wii that much, but it's actually really fun... o_o
ANYWAY I'M DONE WRITAN THIS BLOG POST, SO I IS R GONNA SLEEP NAO. DID THE POST COME OUT GOOD, YOU THINK?

May Gundam Models
Guess I'll do May while I'm at it. Some of these may not be released just yet, but will be before the month is over.
Gundam 00 1/100 #6 - Overflag
...Awesomeness, now in 1/100 scale.
Gundam 00 HG #16 - Tieren Space Commander Type
The Tieren's blue-colored space type, except outfitted for a squad leader.
BB Senshi #309 - Kakouen Daras
More of the "Romance of the 3 Kingdoms" line. I think it's supposed to be based off of the Verga Daras from F91. These things have all the coolest weapons... o_o
High Grade Universal Century #87 - Zaku II Kai
The customized Zaku II that appeared in Gundam 0080 has been added to the HGUC line.
Master Grade #108 - Force Impulse Gundam
The main mech from Gundam SEED Destiny is now in Master Grade form. Only "Force", though... no "Sword" or "Blaster" yet.
For the next couple months, keep your eyes peeled for the HGUC Sazabi, the HG AEU Enact Custom (Saachez), a master grade model of the Shin Musha Gundam(<3), 1/100 models of the Tieren Ground Type and Astraea Type F, and another BB Senshi or two.
April Gundam Models
Onto April, lol.
Gundam 00 1/100 #5 - Gundam Astraea
I don't know too much about this. I think it's from a sidestory?
Gundam 00 HG #14 - Gundam Throne Drei
The last of three Gundam Thrones from 00 has been released in High Grade format. Have fun pretending to be psychobitch and killing a supporting character's entire family :)
Gundam 00 HG #15 - Gundam Nadleeh
Since Nadleeh hadn't yet been revealed by the time the HG Gundam Virtue came out, they waited until now to release the Nadleeh all by itself. HAIR
BB Senshi #308 - Koumei Re-GZ
Continuing on with the "Romance of the 3 Kingdoms"-themed BB Senshi set, the Koumei Re-GZ only marginally looks like its Gundam counterpart. Its weapon looks awfully badass, though.
Master Grade #106 - Launcher/Sword Strike Gundam
The Strike Gundam has been released again, but this time it comes with the Launcher Striker Pack and the Sword Striker Pack.
Master Grade #107 - Mass-Production Gelgoog (Ver 2.0)
The old-school Gelgoog has been re-released. Sieg Zeon!

Anyway...
SO ABOUT THE LUCKY EGG. I AM SUPPOSED TO BE STUDYING FOR MY PHILOSOPHY EXAM, BECAUSE IF I DO REALLY WELL ON IT I COULD SNAG AN A FOR THE CLASS. THE PROFESSOR HASN'T YET GRADED THE EXTRA CREDIT I MANAGED TO DO, BUT WHATEVER.
INSTEAD OF STUDYING LIKE A GOOD COLLEGE STUDENT, I INSTEAD PICKED UP MY NINTENDO DS AND STARTED PLAYING LEAF GREEN. NOW, SINCE I LIKE TRAINING A LOT OF DIFFERENT POKEMON AT ONCE, THEY ALL END UP UNDERLEVELED. SO I FIGURED I'D GO TO THE SAFARI ZONE AND TRY TO FILL IN A FEW HOLES IN MY POKEDEX. SO I GO INTO AREA 2(OR WHICHEVER AREA THE ONE WITH CHANSEY AND TAUROS IS) AND START WALKING AROUND. I'M ACTUALLY LOOKING FOR TAUROS BECAUSE I ALREADY HAVE CHANSEY.
WELL ANYWAY I END UP RUNNING INTO A TAUROS BUT IT RUNS AWAY IMMEDIATELY. AND THEN I ENCOUNTER ABOUT FOUR CHANSEYS, AND ACTUALLY MANAGE TO CATCH ONE, BECAUSE YOU KNOW, EVERYONE LIKES LUCKY EGGS. THEY GIVE YOU APPROXIMATELY 1.5X THE NORMAL EXPERIENCE, WHICH IS ABOUT THE GAIN OF A TRADED POKEMON. SO ANYWAY, I FINALLY CATCH A TAUROS AFTER LIKE AN HOUR, AND GO BACK AND LOOK AT MY CHANSEY, AND THEN I SHAT BRICKS OR SOME SUCH NONSENSE, BECAUSE IT HAD A LUCKY EGG.
SO GUYS, I FEEL LIKE HAVING EGGS. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE STYLE OF COOKING EGGS? I PREFER SCRAMBLED MYSELF; I DON'T REALLY LIKE SUNNY-SIDE UP OR HARD-BOILED. ALSO, IT'S FINE IF THERE'S SOME OIL THAT HADN'T BEEN BURNED OFF(LIKE IF THEY DIDN'T COOK IT QUITE ENOUGH) BUT IF THERE'S SO MUCH THAT MY EGGS END UP LOOKING LIKE SOUP AFTERWARDS LIKE THEY DID THE OTHER DAY, THEN IT'S BAD.
March Gundam Models
OH MY GOD I GOT A LUCKY EGG OFF A CHANSEY. IT MADE MY WHOLE DAY.
Anyway, onto March-released Gunpla! April will be in the next post, along with more ranting about that Lucky Egg.
Gundam 00 HG #11 - Gundam Exia + GN Arms
The first kit to feature the GN Arms - giant mobile weapon fortress-type thing that attaches to the back of Exia. It's quite awesome. It even comes with a Gundam Exia in it, so if you missed out on the original model, you can get this instead!
Gundam 00 HG #12 - Gundam Throne Zwei
Throne Zwei, one of the three most badass Gundams in 00 to date, is out now in High Grade form. The Fangs are awesome.
Gundam 00 HG #13 - Overflag
Overflag kit. 'Nuff said.
Gundam SEED HG #56 - Gundam Astray Green Frame (Troya Custom)
The fourth Gundam Astray to be produced - I'm not sure about its backstory, but it's green, and you can read all about it in the newest Astray manga, Frame Astrays. Piloted by Troya.
Gundam SEED HG #57 - Arms Astray PMC Custom
A custom version of the Arms Astray featured in Frame Astrays.
BB Senshi Set - Char's Counterattack
A nifty set featuring the old versions of every MS that appears in Char's Counterattack. Old versions meaning the old SD Gundam sets - you know, the ones without the legs, only feet. Includes Nu Gundam, Sazabi, MP Gira Doga, Rezun(?)'s Gira Doga, Gyunei's Jagd Doga, Quess's Jagd Doga, an Re-GZ, and a Jegan.
BB Senshi Set - Strike Freedom vs Destiny Gundam
A small set including the Strike Freedom and Destiny Gundam in BB form, which were already released - except this set comes with a few stands to pose them in combat with each other. If you're interested, and don't have either of these, I'd say go for it.
High Grade Universal Century #86 - ν Gundam
The HGUC line continues with their Char's Counterattack lineup with the Nu Gundam, Amuro's mobile suit for the duration of the movie. Comes with funnels and everything. Given how good the HGUC line has been until now, this is sure to please.
Master Grade #105 - Zaku II F Type (Ver. 2)
Master Grade #105b - Zaku Minelayer
The Zaku II F Type(that's the space version) has been released once more in Master Grade form, this time upgraded even further over the previous. It also comes in two varieties - one is the normal Zaku II, while the other is the Zaku Minelayer.

SRW W Stage 53
HOLY CRAP. This stage was insane. It pits you against the Sol 11 dudes from Gaogaigar Final at first. There's seven bosses in that mix, and seven of those cube things. SEVEN BOSSES, two of which had HP over 60k. Well, we started out pretty far away. I found out why soon.
Eviluders appeared on around turn 3 in the other corner of the screen as neutrals - meaning, the goal of this chapter must be "let the Eviluders and the Sol 11s kill each other". That alone would have been easy enough, if it weren't for The Database arriving with THREE upgraded boss mechs, one piloted by Applicant(who can move twice). So, we're very outnumbered, and O, being myself and all, decided to hog all the enemies for myself - I can't let the silly Sol 11s kill MY Eviluders >:O
Anyway, my X Astray and Powered Red were handling practically all of the Sol 11s by themselves. Prayer got shot down in the middle, but I don't think the Powered Red was scratched even once. SP conservation was a big necessity here.
Of course, once you kill enough d00ds, more Eviluders show up. But then the original Nadesico appears OUT OF NOWHERE, captained by Yurika and helped by Lapis(...wtf), and they bring Tekkaman Blade and Kira, both of whom were taken for dead. Oh, and I got Tekkaman Rapier too, because I'm awesome.
Anyway, lots of Eviluders kept coming. Eventually we FINALLY killed everything(well, there were still Eviluders) and then we all boson jumped out towards The Database's main base. (I think.) Save for Gai, who stayed to fight the rest of the Eviluders(the Sol 11s followed us).
Nightmarish chapter. But, I got the most money out of this stage than any other - about 300k. :)

December~February Gundam Models
As I've been slacking off lately, here are the Gundam models for the last few months.
December
Gundam 00 HG #6 - Gundam Virtue
Virtue is next up on the Gundam 00 High Grade lineup - unfortunately, it cannot purge its armor and become Nadleeh. Yay fat gundam.
Gundam 00 HG #7 - Union Flag (Graham Acre)
Ace pilot Graham Acre's custom Union Flag.
Gundam 00 1/100 #2 - Gundam Dynames
The second 1/100 scale model for the series is Gundam Dynames.
Master Grade #102 - Unicorn Gundam Ver. Ka (Picture depicts "Destroy Mode")
From the light novel "Gundam UC(Unicorn)" comes this beatiful Katoki Hajime-designed Master Grade kit. Normally, it is almost completely white - a bit bland. However, its trump card, "Destroy Mode", looks utterly awesome.
Master Grade #29 Special - Sazabi (Metallic Coating)
A special re-release of the Sazabi kit from way back when, now with a metallic coating applied to it.
January
High Grade Universal Century #85 - Re-GZ
As HGUC kits continue on with Char's Counterattack, the Re-GZ is next up - the "refined Gundam Zeta". Amuro piloted one before he got the Nu Gundam.
Gundam 00 HG #8 - Tieren Taozi
Enhanced human Soma's blindingly pink-colored Tieren. Check out that color scheme... I didn't think Soma was the kind of girl who would like pink, but whatever!
Gundam 00 1/100 #3 - Gundam Kyrios
The third 1/100 scale model for the newest Gundam series is the Kyrios, complete with transformation capabilities.
Master Grade #103 - Zaku II (Black Tristars) ver. 2.0
An upgraded Zaku II model - colored black and purple in the name of the Black Tristars. This came out a while ago, but with the release of the Zaku II ver. 2.0 a while back, they decided to release this one.
February
High Grade Universal Century Set - Char's Rick Dom vs G-3 Gundam
An interesting double-set consisting of Char's personal Rick Dom and the G-3 Gundam, neither of which were in the series, but in the novels. The G-3 Gundam was actually the testbed for the Magnetic Coating that was applied to Amuro's own Gundam in the anime.
Gundam 00 HG #9 - Gundam Throne Eins
The first of the Throne Gundams is Eins(hence the name). This badass-looking Gundam reminds me a lot of Strike Noir, actually.
Gundam 00 HG #10 - Tieren Space Type
The modified Tieren for use in space combat. To differentiate, it's colored blue. :)
Gundam 00 1/100 #4 - Gundam Virtue
The fourth 1/100 kit, Gundam Virtue. Unlike the HG kit, this one CAN purge its armor to reveal Gundam Nadleeh. Quite nifty, if you ask me.
BB Senshi #307 - Kakuton Giros
The eigth in a series of SD Gundam kits themed after the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" epic. Xiahou Dun was the original model for this one.
Master Grade #34 Special - ν Gundam (Metallic Coating)
After the Sazabi was re-released with a metallic coating, the ν(Nu) Gundam follows. It's all silvery.
Master Grade #104 - Strike E + IWSP (Lucas O'Donnell)
From the latest Gundam SEED ASTRAY manga, FRAME ASTRAYS, comes this customized Strike Gundam - equipped with the Integrated Weapon Striker Pack, my favorite of the four normal ones(there's also Lightning and Gunbarrel). This looks more badass than the original Strike + IWSP, in my opinion~

Random tidbits
Just some stuff about Super Robot Wars W. I enjoy most SRW games, of course, being a mecha fanboy, but this one is really getting me to laugh out loud.
On top of the wacky relationships they create across series (Sousuke from FMP and Mamoru from Gaogaigar for one), they really enjoy drawing out the characters'... well, character. While a lot of it is serious, of course, with series like Tekkaman Blade and Detonator Orgunn being main parts of the overall storyline, the writers took time out to whip up some pretty funny scenes.
Here's the one that really got me. This one appears later on in the game, when the characters start discussing The Power(see: Gaogaigar). Note: Kazuma is the "Banpresto Original" of this game, and the main protagonist.
Kazuma: .........
Mikoto: What's wrong, Kazuma? You look like you're thinking hard about something...
Kazuma: ...Remember when we came into contact with The Power near Jupiter, how we used it?
Sayaka: Yeah. The army even thought about using it for their weapons, but it was ultimately turned down at the conference in Paris.
Kouji: But it was over the top! With The Power, we could form Genryuujin and Gouryuujin.
Kazuma: Yeah, that! If we used that power, would Kouryuu and Anryuu be able to do that too?
Enryuu: Us...!
Rairyuu: Combine with Kouryuu and Anryuu!?
Kouryuu: Kya-! Combining with you two!
Anryuu: Somehow that's... rather embarassing...
Hyoryuu: Don't worry, Anryuu. If that time comes, leave everything to me.
Fuuryuu: Wait a minute, Hyoryuu-senpai. Combining with Anryuu is my job.
Enryuu: Hey, Kouryuu! Between me and Rairyuu, who do you like better?
Rairyuu: Me, right...!? If we do combine, it'll be you and me!
Kouryuu: Ee~! I can't decide which one of you I like better!
Rairyuu: Kouryuu! You want some Robo Juice? Hold on, I'll get some!
Enryuu: Out of the way, Rairyuu! That's my job!
Hyoruu: Anryuu, you like CCIS's '99 Robo Juice, right? I'll come right back with some.
Fuuryuu: Trying to gain points with her... That's shameful, Hyoryuu-senpai.
Hyoryuu: This is normal affection for one's little sister. Don't read too much into it.
Anryuu: S-Stop it, Hyoryuu...!
Kouji: ...This is your fault, Kazuma... You've just started the greatest sibiling rivalry in history.
Kazuma: My fault!?
Later on, in one of the final chapters, there is a bit of discussion as to the meaning of certain characters' names. As fans of Tekkaman Blade know, the main character's nickname is D-Boy - given because of the fact that he has amnesia and cannot remember his true name. The "D" in his name stands for "Dangerous" - at least, according to Noal. During the heartbreaking scene where D-Boy digs up the time capsule, Yumi(from Tekkaman Blade II) says that she thinks that the "D" really means "Dream". Right before the stage starts, after everyone deploys...
Iberu(Yumi): D-san... I'll do my best... Since the D in D-san stands for "Dream"...
Horis: Then, what's the J stand for?
J: ......
Hikaru: Maybe it means "Japan"?
Izumi: It probably means something like "Joke"...
Gai: "Judgement"... or, maybe "Justice"?
Rune: What exactly is the truth?
J: (Even if you ask me, I don't know either...)
Did you catch Gai's reference to SRW J? ("Judgment Justice" is the name of the title theme in that game.) Haha. It seems the writers are growing more and more fond of this stuff. I remember the voice actor jokes in the Alpha series... *envisions Misato saying Sailor Moon lines*
By the way, Trowa(Gundam Wing) grows quite attached to "Naze Nani Nadesico" over the course of the game. I bet that is great ammunition for his fangirl-base.
In any case, there are about five or so stages left for me to get through in SRW W, involving the climaxes of Gaogaigar FINAL, the original storyline, and possibly Golion(i.e. Voltron). I don't know too much about Golion's story, but Mamoru just drew out the goddess inside the Blue Lion and triggered a scene where King Raimon talks to the Lion Team, so I dunno if it's done yet.
Afterwards, I plan to either play more of SRW F or play Compact; I'll also probably pick up MX again, if my schedule allows it. I played MX for a few minutes today and remembered how awesome it was.

November Gundam Models
Last month was filled with many new Gundam 00 kits(again). But first, let's take a look at...
BB Senshi #305 - Sonken Gundam
Sonken Gundam is yet another samurai-like BB Senshi. This one comes to us in the form of the sixth "Romance of the Three Kingdoms: Gathering of Warriors" retelling miniset of Gundam models that Bandai has going on right now. I have never read the Chinese classic myself; apparently this model was inspired by one of the characters. Looks pretty neat; nice sword.
BB Senshi #306 - Ryofu Tallgeese
As the kit title states, the kit is tall and badass, but it really looks nothing like the Tallgeese. This is the seventh "Romance of the Three Kingdoms: Gathering of Warriors" miniset. Again, this model was inspired by a character in the Chinese classic. I have to admit, this looks pretty cool, with the gold/black armor on the white body. They probably could have left that purple V-fin out of it though... Apparently, that cool-looking staff weapon can transform and be used by any of the other three in the set. It also comes with a horse(not pictured) that can transform into a bike. :)
Not that I have anything against the samurai-style SD Gundams, I like the ones portraying actual Gundams better.
Now on to Gundam 00.
Gundam 00 HG #3 - Gundam Dynames
This kit of Gundam Dynames not only comes with the sniper rifle(sniper cannon, anyone?) but its shoulder plates can revolve around to guard the front as it did in the anime. Its V-fin can also lower to reveal the sniping camera Lockon loves to use so much. Pretty nifty.
Gundam 00 HG #4 - Gundam Kyrios
Whee, a transformable model kit! Kyrios comes with its beam submachine gun, and its shield can even be converted into a claw... so is it Hallelujah psycho time nao?
Gundam 00 HG #5 - Tieren Ground Type
This interesting generic-looking bad-guy mech is (obviously) a customized MP version used for ground combat. Don't you love how through all the Gundam series, they still manage to pull off looking like a Zaku? They still have the monoeyes, at least XD. In any case, it's got a nice cannon and a carbon blade to use as weapons in your personal battle scenes.
Gundam 00 1/100 #1 Gundam Exia
Yay, the first 1/100 model of a Gundam 00 mech. It's pretty much got everything. Not sure if its hands are poseable, but they probably are, with the quality of 1/100 kits these days. Don't take my word for it.
Gundam 00 1/60 #1 Gundam Exia
And the last one for this month is the Perfect Grade Gundam Exia. It's incredibly detailed, and its hands CAN move! It comes with about a zillion weapons - well, all seven swords, anyways, and its GN shield. It's got some pretty damn cool boxart, too...
Well, that's all for November. December's models will come at the end of the month! All images are from HLJ (if you couldn't tell by the watermark), I'm just borrowing them. :P

Random note
This site is in my profile on FESS. I wonder how long it will take for someone to realize it's here?
If you do, keep it a secret :P
